I have an exclusive offer for you and I really mean exclusive as this price will not be made available to the general public. It’s only available to you who have in the past purchased my Login User Form security utility and want to expand on this functionality further.
Here’s my Workgroup Access Rights tool which is an extension (and includes the enhanced version) of the Login User form utility.
“Here’s that special price offer of £57.00 available now…”
Check out the screen shots below which you will recognise some from the original utility… Six new objects and further enhancements to existing ones which have been threaded into your existing forms and tables. Using custom groups, they are now easy to manage. Additional sample objects (forms and reports) have been added but at the end of the day you will use your own.
Notice the new tab ‘Workgroups‘ and new column ‘Workgroup‘ where you attach users to a known workgroup (via a drop-down combo box) which then inherits the defined access rights. Here’s the new ‘Workgroup‘ tab to manage your workgroups. Notice the first record (Administration) which cannot be switched off or disabled but hey, it’s up to you since you can change whatever you like!
A clickable hyperlink called ‘Open…‘ will show the workgroup settings form for both forms and reports. The forms tab allows workgroups to be set as ‘Edit‘ and/or ‘Read Only‘ via the check boxes. See the reports (screen below) which only has a ‘View‘ check box.All check box options above will dynamically save changes (VBA coded) and require no further save or commit actions.Additional functionality to allow users that have successfully logged in to change their own passwords. This is a sample switchboard with the facility to call the ‘Change Password‘ screen but can be added anywhere.Don’t try to read too much here but here’s some new VBA code that you can freely access and change should you wish to do so!
