Microsoft Access Database: Using the Access Built-in Switchboard Manager Utility

This video tutorial quickly demonstrates how to use the built in Microsoft Access Switchboard utility which as been around for a very long time now.

It applies up to Microsoft Access version 2007 though with the newer version for Access 2010 now uses the prefered Navigation Form object.

Microsoft Access 2007: Switchboard Manager Tricks

The trick demonstrated is simple just common sense by learning to copy and paste objects (forms or reports) you wish to call (open or edit) and avoiding mistyped characters.

It  is only the narrative that is being changed and therefore can be anything you like.

Finally, you need to understand that this tool in Mircrosoft Access uses a bound table to the (menu) form being generated and can be edited directly in the Access table but do so with caution – learn the structure first!

Take a look at my eBook about How to Build Microsoft Access Forms which covers in detail all the essential tips and tricks.
